I came across the Brasil Planet through google search and I am glad I did as the tours perfectly suited my itinerary for my travels through Brazil. A special thanks to Francesco who was very helpful, explained everything in detail as well as answering all my questions. The two tours I booked were - Lençois Maranhenses (3 days and 2 nights) and Foz do Iguaçu (3 days and 2 nights). Everything was efficient and the tours were very well organised from the pick-up times to activities planned throughout the day. More importantly the sights were amazing. It was a great experience. I would recommend booking through Brasil Planet as the tours are exactly as described on the site and corresponding emails you will receive. I wanted to touch base with you after the trip, most of all to thank you for organizing everything, but also to give you a couple of comments:

- First of all, one of the things I was most excited about visiting in the Gran Lençois was the Lagoa do Peixe, and I was a little bit disappointed to find out that it was not actually in our itinerary when the guide from that day took us to the other ones. If you had let me know it was a matter of choosing one, I would have made the decision, or at least, it would have been good to know in advance if the plans changed.
- Second of all, I think that this kind of itinerary would be even more comfortable if the hotels in Sao Luis were closer to the airport, or at least south from it instead of north. It would save a lot of time when traveling to and from the Lençois.

Other than this, you have a great schedule that I would definitely consider recommending to other people, or perhaps even doing again in the future.

I am travelling in Peru and have been a bit busy.

I would like to say my appreciation for your kind support & encouraging me to participate in the tour this time without English speaking guide.

Please be informed of the followings what I thought after the tour.

1. Tour itself was managed properly & correctly.

2. For travelers not speaking Spanish but hoping to participate in a tour (to be carried out in Spanish language),written detailed tour schedule information such as follows would be most important points on their enjoying the tour.

* Written information on pick up time & detailed place from the hotel participants are stayed.

* During the tour, what time we will leave after short rest or exercise & where the meeting point to leave together for the next.

* In case multi days tour, if someone would pick up a participant at the place known each other or a participant to move to the designated place by himself.

* Further, after finishing the tour activities, if a tour guide to take all participants to the place they had stayed before starting activities on that day.

* Others similar information

* These points should be informed in general through the voucher or e-mails, and after starting the tour, simple written memo paper to be given each time to all participants would be very supportive and understandable for not speaking Spanish travelers to avoid misunderstanding.

3. In this tour I participated, each guide was kind & care for everybody and therefore the tour activities were kept smoothly.

However, when returning to the harbor after day 2 activities, nobody had informed me if someone pick up each participant and take to a hotel for waiting to be picked up to return to a respective places, and nobody was there.

In my case, a hotel to be returned is near to the harbor, I had no trouble until returning to Sao Luis

4. Services would be done for a client and not to be done for easing or minimizing a tour staff work without considering a tour participant to have more comfortable time.


5. In general, I have really enjoyed your tour and appreciated your good tour management.

* Clean room & hotel facilities

The first transportation (actually most of them) got delayed, and when I phoned the “emergency contact” I realized that no-one spoke neither English nor Spanish. Iguazu Falls are impressing! The day I arrived and was on the Brazilian side of the park it was sunny, on the Argentinian side the next day it was raining, but that made the colours even more vivid. Fransisco, the guide there, was very attentive. The transfers in all places was on time, no complications. I was always met in the airports with the sign with my name.
Correspondence with you by email was very efficient and without any delays. A big plus was meeting you in person in San Luiz.

Although there was less water when I went to desert, the secenry was very fansinating and left me a deep impression. In onther words, it is worth to go there whenever it is. I enjoyed every minute of this tour.

Here is my feedback and some photos:

I did the 1 nights and 2 days tour to the Lençois Maranheses with Brasil Planet and I am so glad i chose this company to do it! They were very very kind to me even during the booking process and all along the trip and also very punctual and organized; nothing at all went wrong.

The first day a bus picked me up from my hotel in Sao Luis and took us to Barreirinhas where we had some free time to rest a little bit and leave our things in the hotel, which by the way was very clean, well located and nice (i stayed in Pousada d´ Areia); the only thing i would complain about it is that the Wif-fi didn’t work at all during my whole stay. In the afternoon, we visited the Lentos Maraheses park with a very cool guide who answered all of our questions. The landscapes are just from another world and words are not enough to describe the beauty of this place. We returned at night to the hotel.

The next day we had our trip on boat in the Preguiças River, we visited Vassouras, Mandacaru and Caburé. The trip is really nice and well organized so you can do a lot of things: visit more lençois, play with little monkeys, ride an ATV, rest in the beach, eat delicious food, etc. We got back to Barreirinhas at the afternoon and the the transfer took us back to our hotel in Sao Luis.

I really recommend this tour and specially with Brasil Planet!

Simply put we had a wonderful time with the plans you made. Everything that was promised was delivered. The hotels were good. The Grand Hotel is in a great location to explore the historic center, but it is in need of maintenance. Our room was changed twice due to the door lock not working and the other because the safe did not work. Still, these were minor inconveniences.

I would not hesitate to use or recommend Brasil Planet.

I am very happy to write a review for your company. We had a fantastic trip and Leonidas was an excellent guide. The tours were great and he knew how to pace the group so we weren´t landing at the same spot as the hundreds of other tourists. Leonidas did the perfect amount of letting us take in the scenery and giving information. Some guides feel the need to fill all the quiet time but he was perfect in that. The drivers were wonderful too. Very professional and skilled driving over the difficult terrain.

The trip was recommened by a friend of mine, who did it a year before. I really enjoyed it very much.
The organisation was perfect. The trips by 4 wheel car to the dunes and boat were great. We had a lot of fun.
The pousada was well located, clean and had a very helpfull staff. (Only the organsation of the breakfast should be improved. The breakfast was not ready when the dining room was opened. With the taff schedule it was not much time for eating and also some things were missing)
The guides on the tours were very polite, supportive and friendly.
They even dropped us directly at the airport on our way back.
Thank you very much for that as well.
The trip was woth every penny... :-) :-) I will tell other people about this wonderfull experience.

We have been very impressed with the overall organisation of all the operators involved (bus to/from Barreirinhas, tours, hotels) as well as their kindness. An unexpected accident when leaving Sao Luis didn´t even alter the mood of all travelers.

Finally, let´s finish with the best: Amazing Lençois Maranhenses! It was a long trip from São Paulo but totally worth it. A must see for world travelers.

The posada do Buriti we were staying at also had very helpful staff, they actually took us to the local funfair where Wesley was playing! The second day on the river and the beach was amazing too! The trip was amazing! The dunes were spectacular, even though there was no water (or not a lot of water). When we asked you to change day 3 for us to go there again, it was organized by you quickly and professionally, awesome!
The first day was amazing, seeing the beautiful dunes, the guide did not speak a lot, but the dunes compensated for that. We were staying at the pousada d’aria which was really nice with a balcony – we wouldn’t have thought that the weather was so nice, otherwise we would have chosen a pousada with a swimming pool J - but it was very nice staying there!
The second day we went to Atins, unfortunately we had bad weather so we shortened the trip, but our guide was really cool and funny and so it was really nice! The third day we went back to the dunes with an awesome guide and it was just beautiful!
The pickup from Sao Luis and return were perfect too.
I really can recommend the trip, it was the highlight of our trip to Brasil. Only next time I would take a pousada with a pool, after the hot dunes J.

thanks for your E-Mail. We had a great trip and liked it a lot. Not sure if we have been lucky with the weather or if this was normal, but it was sunny all the time, so it was a great experience with the white dunes and the deep blue water.

The hotels / poussada have been very nice as well, nothing to complain about. All the pickups and transportation have been in time. We really liked the boat driver who brought us to and from Atins - he liked the kids and was willing to stop etc.

If there was a small thing which could be improved it was the organisation of the drive back to the boat station after our morning trip to the lagunes at the day when we left Atins. it was not clear who is responsible for this transport. But at the end the Lady from the poussade organised a truck from the hotel, although. Not a big thing, but may be for the next guests ...

The car pickup from Sao Luis was on time and driver was profession.
The Pasauda was nice/clean. Would have been good to have the option of an English guide but it didnt take anything away from the experience.
All in all the tour was very good.

Many thanks for your services that you shown me in Barreirinhas. Trip to Barreirinhas, to desert in Lencois and trip by the river was very interesting! The hotel was great in Barreirinhas. Service and locations are very good, rooms are big. Staff, guides and drivers was very attentive and helpfull. Unfortunately in Lencois was not a lot of lakes and water that we expected, but I am sure after raining season is better and more impressing. I think for tourists it can be interesting to come to Lencois.

oh francesco the place was beautiful every one was nice but they really need to get someone that speaks english on the resort in barriehinas i found the monkey tent un safe monkey bite drinking and monkeys dont go they were jumping on the people but the dunes are spectacular but i had a problem with my foot so it was hard to walk up but i did it but every thing was good the guide was nice in sao louis it really pretty there

Our trip was great! We were very happy with the trip and enjoyed it very much.
The only problem we had was in Santo Amaro, where we were told they would pick us up at 2 pm to go to the park, but they came at 4:30 pm.
But it was still very nice.

The tour was good and the drivers and tour operator were friendly. The food and the staff in the hotel were also good. We were a bit disappointed because there was not much water in the lagoons, but I guess its the time of the year we were not so lucky with. All in all it was a good experience. It will be nice if you can inform your clients where to eat good food in Sao Luiz, we found it very difficult to find restaurants in Sao Luiz, but otherwise everything was OK.

The tour was extrememly well-organized - everything went according to plan, the pousada was really good, and the guides were very nice too. Since there were other people around who had contacts with other agencies, I could see that yours was definitely the most well-organized & structured one - especially appreciated the clear & transparent information.
In terms of the tour, I think the only time I felt like I was in a tourist trap was the village of Cabure, where we were taken to a really expensive restaurant for lunch, and given the timing of the tour, lunch wasn´t exactly ´optional´. I´d have ideally liked to not be faced with a forced choice.
On the whole, though, you can expect a very good review coming your way on TripAdvisor (i´m a senior reviewer :)).

Hi, I made (Steve & Nathalie ) a trip at the Lençois with Brasil Planet from feb 20th to 25 th. First i have to tell you that it was very nice and well organised !!! Thank you very much ! Gustavio is a very sharp guide ! Both pousada (portas da amazonia & pousada do rio) gave us a good services. The only problem was the wi-fi at portas da amozonia. It wasn´t in function during all the week !? By the way, the food, the room and the services were excellent. Very nice place !

Apologies for the slight delay, I ended up getting sick right after I got home. Overall we really loved our vacation to norther Brazil and the journey. Everything was planned well and we liked the hotel we stayed at. The 3 day itinerary was perfect since we were able to enjoy the dunes in the am, evening and also visit the beach, which was great. Our day 1 guide was the best, he spoke a bit of English and was very friendly. Our other two guides didn´t speak English but they also didn´t seem to explain too much in Portuguese either.

Highly recommend. Used them to do a trip to São Luis , Lençóis Maranhenses & Atins. I got a few quotes and options but went with them as they were easy to communicate with, got back to you and had good reviews. Other companies were either too pricey or could not be bothered to get back to you. Generally, I was very impressed. Well organised and covered all aspects of the itinerary without rushing you. I normally hate tours or transfers pre-arranged but this was well done. Your not always with the same people as everyone is doing different things. They were timely waiting for me at the airport, transfers and lodging well done. Safe. My main negatives is that I don´t speak Portuguese so struggled at times with how much time we had in a place. To have an English guide would not be worth it here as most of it is scenery and not cultural and it would be pricey. Had it been historical sites then I would have insisted on one. All lodging was good less one which I did have reservations on based on reviews. The other lodging I wanted was sold out and the other ones too expensive. My own choice. I paid a deposit beforehand and the rest is paid in cash on arrival or you can pay by card beforehand. If you pay cash on arrival then there is a small discount. To get to São Luis , Lençóis Maranhenses & Atins is not easy so it´s better to arrange it like this. They have options on their website. Not sure, but think you can also customise but check. They speak English so communicate via email or WAPP. Only breakfast is included but this was fine.

I wanted to touch base with you after the trip, most of all to thank you for organizing everything, but also to give you a couple of comments:

- First of all, one of the things I was most excited about visiting in the Gran Lençois was the Lagoa do Peixe, and I was a little bit disappointed to find out that it was not actually in our itinerary when the guide from that day took us to the other ones. If you had let me know it was a matter of choosing one, I would have made the decision, or at least, it would have been good to know in advance if the plans changed.
- Second of all, I think that this kind of itinerary would be even more comfortable if the hotels in Sao Luis were closer to the airport, or at least south from it instead of north. It would save a lot of time when traveling to and from the Lençois.

Other than this, you have a great schedule that I would definitely consider recommending to other people, or perhaps even doing again in the future.

I just returned from Brasil, as I had added Rio and Iguaçu Falls to my trip.
The part with Brasil Planet was super!!!
Everything went according to plan.
The drivers to and from the airport were prompt and courteous.
The hotels were very nice and I liked being on the beach in São Luis , but being in town in Barreirinhas.
The bus to and from Barreirinhas was fine.
I loved the trip to the dunes at Lençóis Maranhenses …just what I wanted.
The river trip was, also, fun with time at different dunes, the lighthouse and the beach.
The tubing trip was a great adventure… I wish it could have been longer as it was such fun.
All the guides were great in explaining what they could in English and listening to my Portuguese.
All in all, I couldn’t have found a better company to do what I wanted with such success!!!
You were also great pre-trip !

I am travelling in Peru and have been a bit busy.

I would like to say my appreciation for your kind support & encouraging me to participate in the tour this time without English speaking guide.

Please be informed of the followings what I thought after the tour.

1. Tour itself was managed properly & correctly.

2. For travelers not speaking Spanish but hoping to participate in a tour (to be carried out in Spanish language),written detailed tour schedule information such as follows would be most important points on their enjoying the tour.

* Written information on pick up time & detailed place from the hotel participants are stayed.

* During the tour, what time we will leave after short rest or exercise & where the meeting point to leave together for the next.

* In case multi days tour, if someone would pick up a participant at the place known each other or a participant to move to the designated place by himself.

* Further, after finishing the tour activities, if a tour guide to take all participants to the place they had stayed before starting activities on that day.

* Others similar information

* These points should be informed in general through the voucher or e-mails, and after starting the tour, simple written memo paper to be given each time to all participants would be very supportive and understandable for not speaking Spanish travelers to avoid misunderstanding.

3. In this tour I participated, each guide was kind & care for everybody and therefore the tour activities were kept smoothly.

However, when returning to the harbor after day 2 activities, nobody had informed me if someone pick up each participant and take to a hotel for waiting to be picked up to return to a respective places, and nobody was there.

In my case, a hotel to be returned is near to the harbor, I had no trouble until returning to Sao Luis

4. Services would be done for a client and not to be done for easing or minimizing a tour staff work without considering a tour participant to have more comfortable time.


5. In general, I have really enjoyed your tour and appreciated your good tour management.

* Kind staff services

* Supportive reception staff

* Clean room & hotel facilities

* If reception staff to speak a bit more English, further be appreciated.

We are back in Canada now and I finally got a chance to reply to you.

Everything went great regarding all tours and pickups. Everyone was waiting for us when we arrived at the times states, or earlier, so we never had any issues with transportation. The tours were also as expected, expect for that one small issue in Lencois Maranhenses where we were told after we got back from the boat trip that our next day itinerary was going to be different then what we expected, but that was quickly sorted out.

Regarding the hotels, they were all more or less as expected, and were comfortable, no bed bugs 😊

Just a couple of notes on the hotels that can be passed along to the hotels, or for your information:

Pantanal hotel - lots of ants in the bathroom, nothing major. Great people running the place, the guide was very good and accommodating. The extra lunch on the last day was a bit expensive at $60 reals per person, given that the selection wasn´t that great. There was some confusion when we were leaving, and no-one told us the price of extra lunch ahead of time, but we didn´t ask. Food in general was good but not much verity day to day.
Lencois Maranhenses hotel - great place. Very comfortable. Allowed us to stay in the pool area for nearly 3 hours before they were able to check us in early at 10AM. Was great as we had a long night and were able to get some sleep before our 2 PM tour. Lencois Maranhenses in general was the highlight of our trip, fantastic, and lots of time to swim at the sand dune pools, never felt rushed. Loved it.
Chapada Diamantina hotel - fantastic hotel, best one hand down from all the places we stayed. Super organized, very nice decor inside and out. Very pleasant place.

Thank you for all the help in organizing this, and I was very pleased with how everything played out.

Iguazu Falls are impressing! The day I arrived and was on the Brazilian side of the park it was sunny, on the Argentinian side the next day it was raining, but that made the colours even more vivid. Fransisco, the guide there, was very attentive. The transfers in all places was on time, no complications. I was always met in the airports with the sign with my name.
Correspondence with you by email was very efficient and without any delays. A big plus was meeting you in person in San Luiz.

Although there was less water when I went to desert, the secenry was very fansinating and left me a deep impression. In onther words, it is worth to go there whenever it is. I enjoyed every minute of this tour.

Here is my feedback and some photos:

I did the 1 nights and 2 days tour to the Lençois Maranheses with Brasil Planet and I am so glad i chose this company to do it! They were very very kind to me even during the booking process and all along the trip and also very punctual and organized; nothing at all went wrong.

The first day a bus picked me up from my hotel in Sao Luis and took us to Barreirinhas where we had some free time to rest a little bit and leave our things in the hotel, which by the way was very clean, well located and nice (i stayed in Pousada d´ Areia); the only thing i would complain about it is that the Wif-fi didn’t work at all during my whole stay. In the afternoon, we visited the Lentos Maraheses park with a very cool guide who answered all of our questions. The landscapes are just from another world and words are not enough to describe the beauty of this place. We returned at night to the hotel.

The next day we had our trip on boat in the Preguiças River, we visited Vassouras, Mandacaru and Caburé. The trip is really nice and well organized so you can do a lot of things: visit more lençois, play with little monkeys, ride an ATV, rest in the beach, eat delicious food, etc. We got back to Barreirinhas at the afternoon and the the transfer took us back to our hotel in Sao Luis.

I really recommend this tour and specially with Brasil Planet!

Simply put we had a wonderful time with the plans you made. Everything that was promised was delivered. The hotels were good. The Grand Hotel is in a great location to explore the historic center, but it is in need of maintenance. Our room was changed twice due to the door lock not working and the other because the safe did not work. Still, these were minor inconveniences.

I would not hesitate to use or recommend Brasil Planet.

I am very happy to write a review for your company. We had a fantastic trip and Leonidas was an excellent guide. The tours were great and he knew how to pace the group so we weren´t landing at the same spot as the hundreds of other tourists. Leonidas did the perfect amount of letting us take in the scenery and giving information. Some guides feel the need to fill all the quiet time but he was perfect in that. The drivers were wonderful too. Very professional and skilled driving over the difficult terrain.

The trip was recommened by a friend of mine, who did it a year before. I really enjoyed it very much.
The organisation was perfect. The trips by 4 wheel car to the dunes and boat were great. We had a lot of fun.
The pousada was well located, clean and had a very helpfull staff. (Only the organsation of the breakfast should be improved. The breakfast was not ready when the dining room was opened. With the taff schedule it was not much time for eating and also some things were missing)
The guides on the tours were very polite, supportive and friendly.
They even dropped us directly at the airport on our way back.

The trip was amazing! The dunes were spectacular, even though there was no water (or not a lot of water). When we asked you to change day 3 for us to go there again, it was organized by you quickly and professionally, awesome!
The first day was amazing, seeing the beautiful dunes, the guide did not speak a lot, but the dunes compensated for that. We were staying at the pousada d’aria which was really nice with a balcony – we wouldn’t have thought that the weather was so nice, otherwise we would have chosen a pousada with a swimming pool J - but it was very nice staying there!
The second day we went to Atins, unfortunately we had bad weather so we shortened the trip, but our guide was really cool and funny and so it was really nice! The third day we went back to the dunes with an awesome guide and it was just beautiful!
The pickup from Sao Luis and return were perfect too.
I really can recommend the trip, it was the highlight of our trip to Brasil. Only next time I would take a pousada with a pool, after the hot dunes J.

thanks for your E-Mail. We had a great trip and liked it a lot. Not sure if we have been lucky with the weather or if this was normal, but it was sunny all the time, so it was a great experience with the white dunes and the deep blue water.

The hotels / poussada have been very nice as well, nothing to complain about. All the pickups and transportation have been in time. We really liked the boat driver who brought us to and from Atins - he liked the kids and was willing to stop etc.

If there was a small thing which could be improved it was the organisation of the drive back to the boat station after our morning trip to the lagunes at the day when we left Atins. it was not clear who is responsible for this transport. But at the end the Lady from the poussade organised a truck from the hotel, although. Not a big thing, but may be for the next guests ...

The car pickup from Sao Luis was on time and driver was profession.
The Pasauda was nice/clean. Would have been good to have the option of an English guide but it didnt take anything away from the experience.

Many thanks for your services that you shown me in Barreirinhas. Trip to Barreirinhas, to desert in Lencois and trip by the river was very interesting! The hotel was great in Barreirinhas. Service and locations are very good, rooms are big. Staff, guides and drivers was very attentive and helpfull. Unfortunately in Lencois was not a lot of lakes and water that we expected, but I am sure after raining season is better and more impressing. I think for tourists it can be interesting to come to Lencois.

oh francesco the place was beautiful every one was nice but they really need to get someone that speaks english on the resort in barriehinas i found the monkey tent un safe monkey bite drinking and monkeys dont go they were jumping on the people but the dunes are spectacular but i had a problem with my foot so it was hard to walk up but i did it but every thing was good the guide was nice in sao louis it really pretty there

The only problem we had was in Santo Amaro, where we were told they would pick us up at 2 pm to go to the park, but they came at 4:30 pm.

We were a bit disappointed because there was not much water in the lagoons, but I guess its the time of the year we were not so lucky with. All in all it was a good experience. It will be nice if you can inform your clients where to eat good food in Sao Luiz, we found it very difficult to find restaurants in Sao Luiz, but otherwise everything was OK.

The tour was extrememly well-organized - everything went according to plan, the pousada was really good, and the guides were very nice too. Since there were other people around who had contacts with other agencies, I could see that yours was definitely the most well-organized & structured one - especially appreciated the clear & transparent information.
In terms of the tour, I think the only time I felt like I was in a tourist trap was the village of Cabure, where we were taken to a really expensive restaurant for lunch, and given the timing of the tour, lunch wasn´t exactly ´optional´. I´d have ideally liked to not be faced with a forced choice.
On the whole, though, you can expect a very good review coming your way on TripAdvisor (i´m a senior reviewer :)).

Hi, I made (Steve & Nathalie ) a trip at the Lençois with Brasil Planet from feb 20th to 25 th. First i have to tell you that it was very nice and well organised !!! Thank you very much ! Gustavio is a very sharp guide ! Both pousada (portas da amazonia & pousada do rio) gave us a good services. The only problem was the wi-fi at portas da amozonia. It wasn´t in function during all the week !? By the way, the food, the room and the services were excellent. Very nice place !

Apologies for the slight delay, I ended up getting sick right after I got home. Overall we really loved our vacation to norther Brazil and the journey. Everything was planned well and we liked the hotel we stayed at. The 3 day itinerary was perfect since we were able to enjoy the dunes in the am, evening and also visit the beach, which was great. Our day 1 guide was the best, he spoke a bit of English and was very friendly. Our other two guides didn´t speak English but they also didn´t seem to explain too much in Portuguese either.

Fransisco, the guide there, was very attentive. The transfers in all places was on time, no complications. I was always met in the airports with the sign with my name.
Correspondence with you by email was very efficient and without any delays. A big plus was meeting you in person in San Luiz.

I came across the Brasil Planet through google search and I am glad I did as the tours perfectly suited my itinerary for my travels through Brazil. A special thanks to Francesco who was very helpful, explained everything in detail as well as answering all my questions. The two tours I booked were - Lençois Maranhenses (3 days and 2 nights) and Foz do Iguaçu (3 days and 2 nights). Everything was efficient and the tours were very well organised from the pick-up times to activities planned throughout the day. More importantly the sights were amazing. It was a great experience. I would recommend booking through Brasil Planet as the tours are exactly as described on the site and corresponding emails you will receive. All you need to do is enjoy exploring one of the most beautiful countries in the world - Brasil!

I was most impressed with the outstanding coordination of the various agents along the way. At no time were we left waiting for pickups and each guide and driver was reliable and professional. Dear Francesco, I just want to thank you for a fabulous trip recently and for your own swift support throughout. I shall certainly recommend your company to others.
For your reference: Lencois Marahenses were fantastic and the driver and guide excellent. The Pousada do buriti was very good. The driver who took us to Parnaiba was excellent and was very good showing us birds etc in little Lencois.
The hotel in Parnaiba (pousada dos Ventos) was the only sub-standard part of the trip. Maybe if accommodated in the outside wings they would be in better condition but our room in the main building needs a lot of work. Location is good and staff very helpful but bathroom dirty and in bad repair.
Transfer to Jericoacara was functional. The Rox Hotel was excellent.
Our airport transfer was efficient.
All in all an excellent trip.

I finally had the time to leave a feedback on google.
Also I would like to write you some comments, so you can further fine-tune your offer.
Generally, we were really happy, it has been a wonderful trip and very well organized, all worked out very well.

Just some points of improvement:
Hotels:
All hotels were very good selected and really nice!
The only ones not so special have been the one in São Luiz (it has been under construction) and the one in Fortaleza (the room has a view on the back-side of the hotel - would have preferred a view to the ocean).
Tour:
It was very great! A unique experience indeed!
The only improvements would be:
The trip to the lençois Maranhenses - the pick-up was already rather late and there was a big delay - they only arrived about one hour after the agreed time - we were already very worried, as this excursion is the high-light of the trip. With the delay we had to wait a long time to cross the river and literally just made it short before the sunset to the dunes - it would be really recommended to leave earlier to this trip - even the guides said so - so if you can change it, make the pick-up in São Luiz one hour earlier and then arrange the pick-up for the excursion 2 hours earlier at the Rio Preguiço Resort Hotel - that way you have sufficient time to really enjoy the spectacle of the Lençois and take a bath in the various lagoons.
The other improvement is the trip from Jericoacoara to Fortaleza. Instead of mid-day this pick-up should be early morning - that way you could stop on the way at praia de paraiso (preferably) or simply have more time at Fortaleza - the way it is currently, bascially you waste the whole day travelling on boring roads from Jeri to Fortaleza - and since it´s the last day of the trip, it leaves a bad last impression. (Fortunately we had two additonal days in Fortaleza and then left to Fernando de Noronha - if not it would have been really depressing to spend the last day of your vacations in a bus riding through the inlands of Ceara).
If you are able to improve these two points, I think you´d really have the dream trip mastered out. Let me know once you implement this, and I am happy to recommend this as the perfect trip to my friends and family!

I just wanted to let you know, that the Rota das Emoções was truly amazing - and perfectly organised the last bit.

All the drivers and guides were fantastic, always perfectly on time, incredibly nice and very knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed the boat tour through the delta das Americas, but also travelling with 4x4 through the dunes from Barreirinhas to Tutóia and from Parnaiba to Jeri. All three of the guides/drivers were great!

The hotels were absolutely perfect in Barreirinhas and Parnaiba, in Jeri the location, room and breakfast were great, but the My Blue Hotel was lacking a bit in cleanliness and maintenance.

I will add a 5star review to Google and would certainly contact you again for other “Brazilian adventures”!! :-)

today I´ve Internet Acess and a little bit of time to give you a Feedback.
All the Journey we felt like being in good hands as everything was organized professionally.

Drivers:
- were in time (pick up & arrival)
- were very sympatical and we had goodm conversations that shortened up the long time for driving at large distances
- stopped whenever we wanted for taking pictures

Hotels:
- great!!!
- good location
- friendly and helpful staff
- rooms were clean
- no noise

Sights:
- amazing!!!
- The Lencois, Delta do Parnaiba & Jericoara were marvellous...
- the ride along the beaches (a long one) was not felt like a long one..as landscape differed and driver was funny

Price:
- it´s worth its money

Additional:
- superflexible and great support when asking twice for change of the pick up dates!!! This is really a ´more than you expect´ and shows a big interest in the customer to keep him satisified

all in all I´d recommend this tour and the services of Brazil Planet to other travellers as it is a good investion where the traveller can rely on / trust in the organizer, can see & learn a lot and does not have to have any soorows about a successful holiday.

Thanks for your note. Please apologize for my late reply. I am happy to write a quick review on Tripadvisor. I was very very satisfied with the trip from Fortaleza to Sao Luis. The transfers, tours and accommodations were very well organized. All the pick-ups took place on time and the staff was very helpful. I only slightly struggled with the fact that most of the guides/drivers didn´t speak a world of English. This was kind of sad as most of the time, I was the only passangers and I couldn´t talk to the drivers at all.

The cost for this strip was at the high end for my budget but definitively justifiable based on the services you provided (including the very accommodations). You may consider to offer a third package for people with lower budgets where you include cheaper accommodations (e.g. private rooms in hostals instead of hotels etc.).

Thanks for your note. TAM has refunded the amount but thanks for the remembering it.

We were very pleased with your organisation of our trip – all the drivers and guides arrived on time and as expected and there was no stress on all our various transfers, which makes such a difference to enjoying the holiday. We were also pleased with how you handled TAM’s unilateral change of flight.

Re the hotels, I think the only point was the Pousada Teju Acu in Fernando – the staff were very good and we had a chat with the hotel manager who explained why it is difficult to keep the facilities up to date because of the local legal constraints, but we were a little dissatisfied – the bathroom needed refurbishing and the pool a few small repairs, for example. While the Pousada Maravilha was outside our budget (and I have to say we were not terribly impressed with the food when we dined there), I think the Treboju might have been better.

We were pleased with the other hotels, however, and also with the quality of the guiding and driving. I particularly enjoyed the boat trips – especially the one across the delta from Parnaibe, where the boatman was especially good.

Yes, the trip is now finished and we are all back home in the normal behavior and back on work.

At this point I also want to thank you and Brasil Planet for the perfect organization of “the Route of Emotions”-Part of my trip – everything worked fine, everybody was in time, all the pousadas and hotels were very good – and the program itself was absolutely perfect – we all enjoyed it very much.
The only “minipoint” that I could say is, that the last transport from Jeri to Fortaleza airport was concerning the time a little bit let me say nervous. At first we started one hour earlier as planned – but we arrived at the airport only 20 minutes before closing of the check-in counters – on the way we a lot of traffic and if we didn’t start that one hour earlier we would have missed the plane.
But all the rest was “as expected” and I will come back to you and your organization, when I’m planning my next trip to Southamerica – for sure.

all was good!!!
only down point was the long waiting for the 4x4 transer to taking the boat through the Delta de parnaiba. We waited long at a resort where we had no idea what to do (we should have been told to order lunch).
When the driver arrived (nice guy by the way), we understood that we taught to have had lunch during the waiting time... he advised us to order lunch still, but it took 1h15 to get 1 French fries portion! Very poor kitchen management at the place. May be a good idea to find another location for the waiting time

Otherwise, as said, was great, smooth, a very nice trip!

Everything was perfect - everything was on time, transport was comfortable / suitable, guides very friendly, and the pousada´s were great.
The itinerary is fantastic, covers such varied, special places.
A couple of very small points if you´re interested in constructive criticism:
1. Think it woudl be good if your description / info to tourists included suggestions of which places people may consider spending more time in (we were v happy we extended our stay in Jeri!!!)
2. The language was an issue at points, even though Claudia speaks Spanish and could communicate somewhat…minimal english training / requirement of the guides would be great, so there aren´t any misunderstandings about the time available in each place etc.
3. given your local knowledge, perhaps some basic advice/recommendations of local restaurants / activities etc. would be great to include on the itinerary, to help tourists.

Wwe had a great road trip from Forteleza to Sao Luis- we particularly enjoyed our small boat trip up the Parnaiba river as well as seeing the white sands of the Lencois in person which we had wanted to see for ages.

We were a bit concerned about booking a trip through the internet with a company that we could not see many reviews on but we were pleased that everything was in order and everything was as promised.
The trip was a good length with enough time to see what we needed to but still have a relaxing time.
It was good to see pictures in advance the vehicles we were going to be riding in.
The accommodation was all good and we had no complaints about any of it.
Your recommendation to haves an extra night and see the beautiful lagoon, rather than stay in Sao Luis was a good one. Thank you.
The assistance we got with lost luggage was fantastic.
I think the only issues were:
When we got to Jeri we were not sure of where and when we were going to be picked up for our bus trip to Fortalesa. Only a minor issue which was quickly resolved by emailing you.
Although we acknowledge that we definitely needed an English speaking guide we felt it was expensive and not good value for money. Our guide did not seem very knowledgeable on some subjects. i.e. we were interested in where all the sand in the Lencois Marenhenses was coming from and he could not tell us. I looked it up on the internet in the end.
Anyway overall it was a fantastic trip and we would highly recommend your company and would be happy to give any references.

The tours were also as expected, expect for that one small issue in Lencois Maranhenses where we were told after we got back from the boat trip that our next day itinerary was going to be different then what we expected, but that was quickly sorted out.

Regarding the hotels, they were all more or less as expected, and were comfortable, no bed bugs 😊

Just a couple of notes on the hotels that can be passed along to the hotels, or for your information:

Pantanal hotel - lots of ants in the bathroom, nothing major. Great people running the place, the guide was very good and accommodating. The extra lunch on the last day was a bit expensive at $60 reals per person, given that the selection wasn´t that great. There was some confusion when we were leaving, and no-one told us the price of extra lunch ahead of time, but we didn´t ask. Food in general was good but not much verity day to day.
Lencois Maranhenses hotel - great place. Very comfortable. Allowed us to stay in the pool area for nearly 3 hours before they were able to check us in early at 10AM. Was great as we had a long night and were able to get some sleep before our 2 PM tour. Lencois Maranhenses in general was the highlight of our trip, fantastic, and lots of time to swim at the sand dune pools, never felt rushed. Loved it.
Chapada Diamantina hotel - fantastic hotel, best one hand down from all the places we stayed. Super organized, very nice decor inside and out. Very pleasant place.

The only ones not so special have been the one in São Luiz (it has been under construction) and the one in Fortaleza (the room has a view on the back-side of the hotel - would have preferred a view to the ocean).
Tour:
It was very great! A unique experience indeed!
The only improvements would be:
The trip to the lençois Maranhenses - the pick-up was already rather late and there was a big delay - they only arrived about one hour after the agreed time - we were already very worried, as this excursion is the high-light of the trip. With the delay we had to wait a long time to cross the river and literally just made it short before the sunset to the dunes - it would be really recommended to leave earlier to this trip - even the guides said so - so if you can change it, make the pick-up in São Luiz one hour earlier and then arrange the pick-up for the excursion 2 hours earlier at the Rio Preguiço Resort Hotel - that way you have sufficient time to really enjoy the spectacle of the Lençois and take a bath in the various lagoons.
The other improvement is the trip from Jericoacoara to Fortaleza. Instead of mid-day this pick-up should be early morning - that way you could stop on the way at praia de paraiso (preferably) or simply have more time at Fortaleza - the way it is currently, bascially you waste the whole day travelling on boring roads from Jeri to Fortaleza - and since it´s the last day of the trip, it leaves a bad last impression. (Fortunately we had two additonal days in Fortaleza and then left to Fernando de Noronha - if not it would have been really depressing to spend the last day of your vacations in a bus riding through the inlands of Ceara).
If you are able to improve these two points, I think you´d really have the dream trip mastered out. Let me know once you implement this, and I am happy to recommend this as the perfect trip to my friends and family!

I just wanted to let you know, that the Rota das Emoções was truly amazing - and perfectly organised the last bit.

All the drivers and guides were fantastic, always perfectly on time, incredibly nice and very knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed the boat tour through the delta das Americas, but also travelling with 4x4 through the dunes from Barreirinhas to Tutóia and from Parnaiba to Jeri. All three of the guides/drivers were great!

The hotels were absolutely perfect in Barreirinhas and Parnaiba, in Jeri the location, room and breakfast were great, but the My Blue Hotel was lacking a bit in cleanliness and maintenance.

I will add a 5star review to Google and would certainly contact you again for other “Brazilian adventures”!! :-)

today I´ve Internet Acess and a little bit of time to give you a Feedback.
All the Journey we felt like being in good hands as everything was organized professionally.

Drivers:
- were in time (pick up & arrival)
- were very sympatical and we had goodm conversations that shortened up the long time for driving at large distances
- stopped whenever we wanted for taking pictures

Hotels:
- great!!!
- good location
- friendly and helpful staff
- rooms were clean
- no noise

Sights:
- amazing!!!
- The Lencois, Delta do Parnaiba & Jericoara were marvellous...

Thanks for your note. Please apologize for my late reply. I am happy to write a quick review on Tripadvisor. I was very very satisfied with the trip from Fortaleza to Sao Luis. The transfers, tours and accommodations were very well organized. All the pick-ups took place on time and the staff was very helpful. I only slightly struggled with the fact that most of the guides/drivers didn´t speak a world of English. This was kind of sad as most of the time, I was the only passangers and I couldn´t talk to the drivers at all.

The cost for this strip was at the high end for my budget but definitively justifiable based on the services you provided (including the very accommodations). You may consider to offer a third package for people with lower budgets where you include cheaper accommodations (e.g. private rooms in hostals instead of hotels etc.).

We were very pleased with your organisation of our trip – all the drivers and guides arrived on time and as expected and there was no stress on all our various transfers, which makes such a difference to enjoying the holiday. We were also pleased with how you handled TAM’s unilateral change of flight.

Re the hotels, I think the only point was the Pousada Teju Acu in Fernando – the staff were very good and we had a chat with the hotel manager who explained why it is difficult to keep the facilities up to date because of the local legal constraints, but we were a little dissatisfied – the bathroom needed refurbishing and the pool a few small repairs, for example. While the Pousada Maravilha was outside our budget (and I have to say we were not terribly impressed with the food when we dined there), I think the Treboju might have been better.

We were pleased with the other hotels, however, and also with the quality of the guiding and driving. I particularly enjoyed the boat trips – especially the one across the delta from Parnaibe, where the boatman was especially good.

Yes, the trip is now finished and we are all back home in the normal behavior and back on work.

At this point I also want to thank you and Brasil Planet for the perfect organization of “the Route of Emotions”-Part of my trip – everything worked fine, everybody was in time, all the pousadas and hotels were very good – and the program itself was absolutely perfect – we all enjoyed it very much.
The only “minipoint” that I could say is, that the last transport from Jeri to Fortaleza airport was concerning the time a little bit let me say nervous. At first we started one hour earlier as planned – but we arrived at the airport only 20 minutes before closing of the check-in counters – on the way we a lot of traffic and if we didn’t start that one hour earlier we would have missed the plane.
But all the rest was “as expected” and I will come back to you and your organization, when I’m planning my next trip to Southamerica – for sure.

all was good!!!
only down point was the long waiting for the 4x4 transer to taking the boat through the Delta de parnaiba. We waited long at a resort where we had no idea what to do (we should have been told to order lunch).
When the driver arrived (nice guy by the way), we understood that we taught to have had lunch during the waiting time... he advised us to order lunch still, but it took 1h15 to get 1 French fries portion! Very poor kitchen management at the place. May be a good idea to find another location for the waiting time

Otherwise, as said, was great, smooth, a very nice trip!

We loved the trip you organised for us so much, THANK YOU.
Everything was perfect - everything was on time, transport was comfortable / suitable, guides very friendly, and the pousada´s were great.
The itinerary is fantastic, covers such varied, special places.
A couple of very small points if you´re interested in constructive criticism:
1. Think it woudl be good if your description / info to tourists included suggestions of which places people may consider spending more time in (we were v happy we extended our stay in Jeri!!!)
2. The language was an issue at points, even though Claudia speaks Spanish and could communicate somewhat…minimal english training / requirement of the guides would be great, so there aren´t any misunderstandings about the time available in each place etc.
3. given your local knowledge, perhaps some basic advice/recommendations of local restaurants / activities etc. would be great to include on the itinerary, to help tourists.

Wwe had a great road trip from Forteleza to Sao Luis- we particularly enjoyed our small boat trip up the Parnaiba river as well as seeing the white sands of the Lencois in person which we had wanted to see for ages.

We were a bit concerned about booking a trip through the internet with a company that we could not see many reviews on but we were pleased that everything was in order and everything was as promised.
The trip was a good length with enough time to see what we needed to but still have a relaxing time.
It was good to see pictures in advance the vehicles we were going to be riding in.
The accommodation was all good and we had no complaints about any of it.
Your recommendation to haves an extra night and see the beautiful lagoon, rather than stay in Sao Luis was a good one. Thank you.
The assistance we got with lost luggage was fantastic.
I think the only issues were:
When we got to Jeri we were not sure of where and when we were going to be picked up for our bus trip to Fortalesa. Only a minor issue which was quickly resolved by emailing you.
Although we acknowledge that we definitely needed an English speaking guide we felt it was expensive and not good value for money. Our guide did not seem very knowledgeable on some subjects. i.e. we were interested in where all the sand in the Lencois Marenhenses was coming from and he could not tell us. I looked it up on the internet in the end.
Anyway overall it was a fantastic trip and we would highly recommend your company and would be happy to give any references.

Dear Francesco, I just want to thank you for a fabulous trip recently and for your own swift support throughout. I shall certainly recommend your company to others.
For your reference: Lencois Marahenses were fantastic and the driver and guide excellent. The Pousada do buriti was very good. The driver who took us to Parnaiba was excellent and was very good showing us birds etc in little Lencois.
The hotel in Parnaiba (pousada dos Ventos) was the only sub-standard part of the trip. Maybe if accommodated in the outside wings they would be in better condition but our room in the main building needs a lot of work. Location is good and staff very helpful but bathroom dirty and in bad repair.
Transfer to Jericoacara was functional. The Rox Hotel was excellent.
Our airport transfer was efficient.
All in all an excellent trip.

At this point I also want to thank you and Brasil Planet for the perfect organization of “the Route of Emotions”-Part of my trip – everything worked fine, everybody was in time, all the pousadas and hotels were very good – and the program itself was absolutely perfect – we all enjoyed it very much.
The only “minipoint” that I could say is, that the last transport from Jeri to Fortaleza airport was concerning the time a little bit let me say nervous. At first we started one hour earlier as planned – but we arrived at the airport only 20 minutes before closing of the check-in counters – on the way we a lot of traffic and if we didn’t start that one hour earlier we would have missed the plane.
But all the rest was “as expected” and I will come back to you and your organization, when I’m planning my next trip to Southamerica – for sure.

all was good!!!
only down point was the long waiting for the 4x4 transer to taking the boat through the Delta de parnaiba. We waited long at a resort where we had no idea what to do (we should have been told to order lunch).
When the driver arrived (nice guy by the way), we understood that we taught to have had lunch during the waiting time... he advised us to order lunch still, but it took 1h15 to get 1 French fries portion! Very poor kitchen management at the place. May be a good idea to find another location for the waiting time

Otherwise, as said, was great, smooth, a very nice trip!

Everything was perfect - everything was on time, transport was comfortable / suitable, guides very friendly, and the pousada´s were great.
The itinerary is fantastic, covers such varied, special places.
A couple of very small points if you´re interested in constructive criticism:
1. Think it woudl be good if your description / info to tourists included suggestions of which places people may consider spending more time in (we were v happy we extended our stay in Jeri!!!)
2. The language was an issue at points, even though Claudia speaks Spanish and could communicate somewhat…minimal english training / requirement of the guides would be great, so there aren´t any misunderstandings about the time available in each place etc.
3. given your local knowledge, perhaps some basic advice/recommendations of local restaurants / activities etc. would be great to include on the itinerary, to help tourists.

Wwe had a great road trip from Forteleza to Sao Luis- we particularly enjoyed our small boat trip up the Parnaiba river as well as seeing the white sands of the Lencois in person which we had wanted to see for ages.

We were a bit concerned about booking a trip through the internet with a company that we could not see many reviews on but we were pleased that everything was in order and everything was as promised.
The trip was a good length with enough time to see what we needed to but still have a relaxing time.
It was good to see pictures in advance the vehicles we were going to be riding in.
The accommodation was all good and we had no complaints about any of it.
Your recommendation to haves an extra night and see the beautiful lagoon, rather than stay in Sao Luis was a good one. Thank you.
The assistance we got with lost luggage was fantastic.
I think the only issues were:
When we got to Jeri we were not sure of where and when we were going to be picked up for our bus trip to Fortalesa. Only a minor issue which was quickly resolved by emailing you.
Although we acknowledge that we definitely needed an English speaking guide we felt it was expensive and not good value for money. Our guide did not seem very knowledgeable on some subjects. i.e. we were interested in where all the sand in the Lencois Marenhenses was coming from and he could not tell us. I looked it up on the internet in the end.
Anyway overall it was a fantastic trip and we would highly recommend your company and would be happy to give any references.

Dear Francesco, I just want to thank you for a fabulous trip recently and for your own swift support throughout. I shall certainly recommend your company to others.
For your reference: Lencois Marahenses were fantastic and the driver and guide excellent. The Pousada do buriti was very good. The driver who took us to Parnaiba was excellent and was very good showing us birds etc in little Lencois.
The hotel in Parnaiba (pousada dos Ventos) was the only sub-standard part of the trip. Maybe if accommodated in the outside wings they would be in better condition but our room in the main building needs a lot of work. Location is good and staff very helpful but bathroom dirty and in bad repair.
Transfer to Jericoacara was functional. The Rox Hotel was excellent.
Our airport transfer was efficient.
All in all an excellent trip.

I finally had the time to leave a feedback on google.
Also I would like to write you some comments, so you can further fine-tune your offer.
Generally, we were really happy, it has been a wonderful trip and very well organized, all worked out very well.

Just some points of improvement:
Hotels:
All hotels were very good selected and really nice!
The only ones not so special have been the one in São Luiz (it has been under construction) and the one in Fortaleza (the room has a view on the back-side of the hotel - would have preferred a view to the ocean).
Tour:
It was very great! A unique experience indeed!
The only improvements would be:
The trip to the lençois Maranhenses - the pick-up was already rather late and there was a big delay - they only arrived about one hour after the agreed time - we were already very worried, as this excursion is the high-light of the trip. With the delay we had to wait a long time to cross the river and literally just made it short before the sunset to the dunes - it would be really recommended to leave earlier to this trip - even the guides said so - so if you can change it, make the pick-up in São Luiz one hour earlier and then arrange the pick-up for the excursion 2 hours earlier at the Rio Preguiço Resort Hotel - that way you have sufficient time to really enjoy the spectacle of the Lençois and take a bath in the various lagoons.
The other improvement is the trip from Jericoacoara to Fortaleza. Instead of mid-day this pick-up should be early morning - that way you could stop on the way at praia de paraiso (preferably) or simply have more time at Fortaleza - the way it is currently, bascially you waste the whole day travelling on boring roads from Jeri to Fortaleza - and since it´s the last day of the trip, it leaves a bad last impression. (Fortunately we had two additonal days in Fortaleza and then left to Fernando de Noronha - if not it would have been really depressing to spend the last day of your vacations in a bus riding through the inlands of Ceara).
If you are able to improve these two points, I think you´d really have the dream trip mastered out. Let me know once you implement this, and I am happy to recommend this as the perfect trip to my friends and family!

I just wanted to let you know, that the Rota das Emoções was truly amazing - and perfectly organised the last bit.

All the drivers and guides were fantastic, always perfectly on time, incredibly nice and very knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed the boat tour through the delta das Americas, but also travelling with 4x4 through the dunes from Barreirinhas to Tutóia and from Parnaiba to Jeri. All three of the guides/drivers were great!

The hotels were absolutely perfect in Barreirinhas and Parnaiba, in Jeri the location, room and breakfast were great, but the My Blue Hotel was lacking a bit in cleanliness and maintenance.

I will add a 5star review to Google and would certainly contact you again for other “Brazilian adventures”!! :-)

today I´ve Internet Acess and a little bit of time to give you a Feedback.
All the Journey we felt like being in good hands as everything was organized professionally.

Drivers:
- were in time (pick up & arrival)
- were very sympatical and we had goodm conversations that shortened up the long time for driving at large distances
- stopped whenever we wanted for taking pictures

Hotels:
- great!!!
- good location
- friendly and helpful staff
- rooms were clean
- no noise

Sights:
- amazing!!!
- The Lencois, Delta do Parnaiba & Jericoara were marvellous...
- the ride along the beaches (a long one) was not felt like a long one..as landscape differed and driver was funny

- it´s worth its money

Additional:
- superflexible and great support when asking twice for change of the pick up dates!!! This is really a ´more than you expect´ and shows a big interest in the customer to keep him satisified

all in all I´d recommend this tour and the services of Brazil Planet to other travellers as it is a good investion where the traveller can rely on / trust in the organizer, can see & learn a lot and does not have to have any soorows about a successful holiday.

Thanks for your note. Please apologize for my late reply. I am happy to write a quick review on Tripadvisor. I was very very satisfied with the trip from Fortaleza to Sao Luis. The transfers, tours and accommodations were very well organized. All the pick-ups took place on time and the staff was very helpful. I only slightly struggled with the fact that most of the guides/drivers didn´t speak a world of English. This was kind of sad as most of the time, I was the only passangers and I couldn´t talk to the drivers at all.

The cost for this strip was at the high end for my budget but definitively justifiable based on the services you provided (including the very accommodations). You may consider to offer a third package for people with lower budgets where you include cheaper accommodations (e.g. private rooms in hostals instead of hotels etc.).

Thanks for your note. TAM has refunded the amount but thanks for the remembering it.

We were very pleased with your organisation of our trip – all the drivers and guides arrived on time and as expected and there was no stress on all our various transfers, which makes such a difference to enjoying the holiday. We were also pleased with how you handled TAM’s unilateral change of flight.

Re the hotels, I think the only point was the Pousada Teju Acu in Fernando – the staff were very good and we had a chat with the hotel manager who explained why it is difficult to keep the facilities up to date because of the local legal constraints, but we were a little dissatisfied – the bathroom needed refurbishing and the pool a few small repairs, for example. While the Pousada Maravilha was outside our budget (and I have to say we were not terribly impressed with the food when we dined there), I think the Treboju might have been better.

We were pleased with the other hotels, however, and also with the quality of the guiding and driving. I particularly enjoyed the boat trips – especially the one across the delta from Parnaibe, where the boatman was especially good.

Pousada do Buriti is gorgeous. Just one regret, people do not speak other languages but Portuguese. We managed though. That did not ruin :) my impression of the wonderful Lencois Maranhenses.
Pouse Alegre in Panthanal is amazing. Big thanks to its owner Luiz.
Iguazu Falls are impressing! The day I arrived and was on the Brazilian side of the park it was sunny, on the Argentinian side the next day it was raining, but that made the colours even more vivid. Fransisco, the guide there, was very attentive. The transfers in all places was on time, no complications. I was always met in the airports with the sign with my name.
Correspondence with you by email was very efficient and without any delays. A big plus was meeting you in person in San Luiz.

I came across the Brasil Planet through google search and I am glad I did as the tours perfectly suited my itinerary for my travels through Brazil. A special thanks to Francesco who was very helpful, explained everything in detail as well as answering all my questions. The two tours I booked were - Lençois Maranhenses (3 days and 2 nights) and Foz do Iguaçu (3 days and 2 nights). Everything was efficient and the tours were very well organised from the pick-up times to activities planned throughout the day. More importantly the sights were amazing. It was a great experience. I would recommend booking through Brasil Planet as the tours are exactly as described on the site and corresponding emails you will receive. I wanted to touch base with you after the trip, most of all to thank you for organizing everything, but also to give you a couple of comments:

- First of all, one of the things I was most excited about visiting in the Gran Lençois was the Lagoa do Peixe, and I was a little bit disappointed to find out that it was not actually in our itinerary when the guide from that day took us to the other ones. If you had let me know it was a matter of choosing one, I would have made the decision, or at least, it would have been good to know in advance if the plans changed.
- Second of all, I think that this kind of itinerary would be even more comfortable if the hotels in Sao Luis were closer to the airport, or at least south from it instead of north. It would save a lot of time when traveling to and from the Lençois.

Other than this, you have a great schedule that I would definitely consider recommending to other people, or perhaps even doing again in the future.

I am travelling in Peru and have been a bit busy.

I would like to say my appreciation for your kind support & encouraging me to participate in the tour this time without English speaking guide.

Please be informed of the followings what I thought after the tour.

1. Tour itself was managed properly & correctly.

2. For travelers not speaking Spanish but hoping to participate in a tour (to be carried out in Spanish language),written detailed tour schedule information such as follows would be most important points on their enjoying the tour.

* Written information on pick up time & detailed place from the hotel participants are stayed.

* During the tour, what time we will leave after short rest or exercise & where the meeting point to leave together for the next.

* In case multi days tour, if someone would pick up a participant at the place known each other or a participant to move to the designated place by himself.

* Further, after finishing the tour activities, if a tour guide to take all participants to the place they had stayed before starting activities on that day.

* Others similar information

* These points should be informed in general through the voucher or e-mails, and after starting the tour, simple written memo paper to be given each time to all participants would be very supportive and understandable for not speaking Spanish travelers to avoid misunderstanding.

3. In this tour I participated, each guide was kind & care for everybody and therefore the tour activities were kept smoothly.

However, when returning to the harbor after day 2 activities, nobody had informed me if someone pick up each participant and take to a hotel for waiting to be picked up to return to a respective places, and nobody was there.

In my case, a hotel to be returned is near to the harbor, I had no trouble until returning to Sao Luis

4. Services would be done for a client and not to be done for easing or minimizing a tour staff work without considering a tour participant to have more comfortable time.

I have just on concern. First is about the assistance. The first transportation (actually most of them) got delayed, and when I phoned the “emergency contact” I realized that no-one spoke neither English nor Spanish. I felt a bit worried after that, as I realized I had no chance to mend any problem by myself.

Iguazu Falls are impressing! The day I arrived and was on the Brazilian side of the park it was sunny, on the Argentinian side the next day it was raining, but that made the colours even more vivid. Fransisco, the guide there, was very attentive. The transfers in all places was on time, no complications. I was always met in the airports with the sign with my name.
Correspondence with you by email was very efficient and without any delays. A big plus was meeting you in person in San Luiz.

Although there was less water when I went to desert, the secenry was very fansinating and left me a deep impression. In onther words, it is worth to go there whenever it is. I enjoyed every minute of this tour.
The vehicles, services and hotels all were pretty good and well-arranged. Valeria was also very helpful.

Here is my feedback and some photos:

I did the 1 nights and 2 days tour to the Lençois Maranheses with Brasil Planet and I am so glad i chose this company to do it! They were very very kind to me even during the booking process and all along the trip and also very punctual and organized; nothing at all went wrong.

The first day a bus picked me up from my hotel in Sao Luis and took us to Barreirinhas where we had some free time to rest a little bit and leave our things in the hotel, which by the way was very clean, well located and nice (i stayed in Pousada d´ Areia); the only thing i would complain about it is that the Wif-fi didn’t work at all during my whole stay. In the afternoon, we visited the Lentos Maraheses park with a very cool guide who answered all of our questions. The landscapes are just from another world and words are not enough to describe the beauty of this place. We returned at night to the hotel.

The next day we had our trip on boat in the Preguiças River, we visited Vassouras, Mandacaru and Caburé. The trip is really nice and well organized so you can do a lot of things: visit more lençois, play with little monkeys, ride an ATV, rest in the beach, eat delicious food, etc. We got back to Barreirinhas at the afternoon and the the transfer took us back to our hotel in Sao Luis.

I really recommend this tour and specially with Brasil Planet!

The hotel in Barreirinhas was very nice. They even even allowed me to get cleaned up after the last excursion before getting on the bus.

Simply put we had a wonderful time with the plans you made. Everything that was promised was delivered. The hotels were good. The Grand Hotel is in a great location to explore the historic center, but it is in need of maintenance. Our room was changed twice due to the door lock not working and the other because the safe did not work. Still, these were minor inconveniences.

I would not hesitate to use or recommend Brasil Planet.

I am very happy to write a review for your company. We had a fantastic trip and Leonidas was an excellent guide. The tours were great and he knew how to pace the group so we weren´t landing at the same spot as the hundreds of other tourists. Leonidas did the perfect amount of letting us take in the scenery and giving information. Some guides feel the need to fill all the quiet time but he was perfect in that. The drivers were wonderful too. Very professional and skilled driving over the difficult terrain.

The trip was recommened by a friend of mine, who did it a year before. I really enjoyed it very much.
The organisation was perfect. The trips by 4 wheel car to the dunes and boat were great. We had a lot of fun.
The pousada was well located, clean and had a very helpfull staff. (Only the organsation of the breakfast should be improved. The breakfast was not ready when the dining room was opened. With the taff schedule it was not much time for eating and also some things were missing)
The guides on the tours were very polite, supportive and friendly.
They even dropped us directly at the airport on our way back.
Thank you very much for that as well.
The trip was woth every penny... :-) :-) I will tell other people about this wonderfull experience.

We would like to thank you personally: you´ve been very reactive & very helpful although we asked you on very short notice.
We have been very impressed with the overall organisation of all the operators involved (bus to/from Barreirinhas, tours, hotels) as well as their kindness. An unexpected accident when leaving Sao Luis didn´t even alter the mood of all travelers.

Finally, let´s finish with the best: Amazing Lençois Maranhenses! It was a long trip from São Paulo but totally worth it. A must see for world travelers.

The trip was amazing! The sand dunes were amazing and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly! The posada do Buriti we were staying at also had very helpful staff, they actually took us to the local funfair where Wesley was playing! The second day on the river and the beach was amazing too! The trip was amazing! The dunes were spectacular, even though there was no water (or not a lot of water). When we asked you to change day 3 for us to go there again, it was organized by you quickly and professionally, awesome!
The first day was amazing, seeing the beautiful dunes, the guide did not speak a lot, but the dunes compensated for that. We were staying at the pousada d’aria which was really nice with a balcony – we wouldn’t have thought that the weather was so nice, otherwise we would have chosen a pousada with a swimming pool J - but it was very nice staying there!
The second day we went to Atins, unfortunately we had bad weather so we shortened the trip, but our guide was really cool and funny and so it was really nice! The third day we went back to the dunes with an awesome guide and it was just beautiful!
The pickup from Sao Luis and return were perfect too.
I really can recommend the trip, it was the highlight of our trip to Brasil. Only next time I would take a pousada with a pool, after the hot dunes J.

thanks for your E-Mail. We had a great trip and liked it a lot. Not sure if we have been lucky with the weather or if this was normal, but it was sunny all the time, so it was a great experience with the white dunes and the deep blue water.

The hotels / poussada have been very nice as well, nothing to complain about. All the pickups and transportation have been in time. We really liked the boat driver who brought us to and from Atins - he liked the kids and was willing to stop etc.

If there was a small thing which could be improved it was the organisation of the drive back to the boat station after our morning trip to the lagunes at the day when we left Atins. it was not clear who is responsible for this transport. But at the end the Lady from the poussade organised a truck from the hotel, although. Not a big thing, but may be for the next guests ...

The trip to Lencois was excellent.
The car pickup from Sao Luis was on time and driver was profession.
The Pasauda was nice/clean. Would have been good to have the option of an English guide but it didnt take anything away from the experience.
All in all the tour was very good.

Many thanks for your services that you shown me in Barreirinhas. Trip to Barreirinhas, to desert in Lencois and trip by the river was very interesting! The hotel was great in Barreirinhas. Service and locations are very good, rooms are big. Staff, guides and drivers was very attentive and helpfull. Unfortunately in Lencois was not a lot of lakes and water that we expected, but I am sure after raining season is better and more impressing. I think for tourists it can be interesting to come to Lencois.

oh francesco the place was beautiful every one was nice but they really need to get someone that speaks english on the resort in barriehinas i found the monkey tent un safe monkey bite drinking and monkeys dont go they were jumping on the people but the dunes are spectacular but i had a problem with my foot so it was hard to walk up but i did it but every thing was good the guide was nice in sao louis it really pretty there

Our trip was great! We were very happy with the trip and enjoyed it very much.
The only problem we had was in Santo Amaro, where we were told they would pick us up at 2 pm to go to the park, but they came at 4:30 pm.
But it was still very nice.

The tour was good and the drivers and tour operator were friendly. The food and the staff in the hotel were also good. We were a bit disappointed because there was not much water in the lagoons, but I guess its the time of the year we were not so lucky with. All in all it was a good experience. It will be nice if you can inform your clients where to eat good food in Sao Luiz, we found it very difficult to find restaurants in Sao Luiz, but otherwise everything was OK.

The tour was extrememly well-organized - everything went according to plan, the pousada was really good, and the guides were very nice too. Since there were other people around who had contacts with other agencies, I could see that yours was definitely the most well-organized & structured one - especially appreciated the clear & transparent information.
In terms of the tour, I think the only time I felt like I was in a tourist trap was the village of Cabure, where we were taken to a really expensive restaurant for lunch, and given the timing of the tour, lunch wasn´t exactly ´optional´. I´d have ideally liked to not be faced with a forced choice.
On the whole, though, you can expect a very good review coming your way on TripAdvisor (i´m a senior reviewer :)).

Hi, I made (Steve & Nathalie ) a trip at the Lençois with Brasil Planet from feb 20th to 25 th. First i have to tell you that it was very nice and well organised !!! Thank you very much ! Gustavio is a very sharp guide ! Both pousada (portas da amazonia & pousada do rio) gave us a good services. The only problem was the wi-fi at portas da amozonia. It wasn´t in function during all the week !? By the way, the food, the room and the services were excellent. Very nice place !

Apologies for the slight delay, I ended up getting sick right after I got home. Overall we really loved our vacation to norther Brazil and the journey. Everything was planned well and we liked the hotel we stayed at. The 3 day itinerary was perfect since we were able to enjoy the dunes in the am, evening and also visit the beach, which was great. Our day 1 guide was the best, he spoke a bit of English and was very friendly. Our other two guides didn´t speak English but they also didn´t seem to explain too much in Portuguese either.
